    This product did what I needed it to do by getting our washer working again. However, it wouldn't work with the lid strike (the magnetic piece that is affixed to the lid itself) that comes with this product. After realizing that the magnet was too weak to engage the lock, I reinstalled the original lid strike, and bingo. Now hopefully it'll hold up over time!
