It fit, and took less than two minutes to install
I searched six different websites, including Amazon, to try and find this part which GE no longer makes. Several had reviews suggesting that the part that was bought didn't fit. Another had the part for $150! (A new microwave would be about $250.) Speedy had the part for under $15, got it to me within four days, and it fit perfectly.
