DG94-00520A Oven Ignitor Replacement for Samsung Gas Ranges
Posted by Speedy Appliance Parts on 19th Oct 2021
A gas oven not heating can be extremely frustrating especially during peak season for those of us who like to cook as the temperatures cool down. There is nothing worse than opening the oven expecting to pull out a beautiful, hot, delicious apple pie only to find it's cold, not cooked, and you have the little ones waiting at the table for a slice of that apple pie!
More than 80% of the time when an oven doesn't come on it's because the oven ignitor is failing or has failed. Most newer ranges will give out an error code indicating what the issue may be. Some older less modern ranges you can do simple checks. You can disconnect the oven ignitor plug, turn on the oven via the control board and simply use a volt-meter to see if there is 120v of power going to the harness plug.. No voltage? you have another issue. If you have voltage then this would likely indicate the oven ignitor has failed and needs replaced. This is typically an easy fix and you can save hundreds of dollars doing this yourself. If you have a Samsung gas range model series FX7, NX583, NX58 Model series then this is likely the ignitor you need https://www.speedyappliancepar...
Fortunately Speedy Appliance Parts has you covered. They offer this ignitor for about $25 + shipping far below the average retail price of $125 + shipping+ tax.
